I made an appointment 2 months in advance. His office is located behind Summerlin hospital and I planned an hour to get there from Anthem. I specifically made my appointment to see him for UTERINE Fibroids. Which I researched was his specialty.
My appointment was at 1 pm the reception desk told me to check in at 1230. I arrived at 1215. Got a stack of paperwork and gave up my ID and insurance card. The receptionist was friendly. The room was filled with people and I immediaty felt cold. I had jacket pants scarf on asked if they would adjust the temp. She said she couldn't.
As I returned all papers filled out...she announced to the room if any of us were here to see Dr. Darin that he would be a couple hours behind!! I immediaty spoke up and she said you can see another Dr for an annual.
I didnt come for an annual! I came to this Doctor to assess the fibroids.
The girl was kind and said she would talk to the scheduler. At 130 after waiting over an hour I left ..This is another example of careless staff and Doctors who overbook. His time was surely compensated as to my day was a waste. A total of 3 hours drive and waiting to be pushed put like sheep to a slaughter. I had planned this for 2 months!
I wish tgere was advocacy for compensating customers who lost wages and time wasted. I could have gone to the Mayo vlonic and back the ladt two momths. This is really unprofessional. Thanks for Nothing. Amother pompious. Doctor in Las Vegas.
