After reading all the great reviews of this place, I really wanted to like it. My experience, however, definitely left a lot to be desired. Charlotte cut my hair, and while she was very personable, she seemed to be in a huge hurry. I wasn't offered anything to drink when I got there, even after mentioning that I had just walked 50 mins and it was very hot and humid outside. As well, when I mentioned I would like my curly hair blow dryed straight, she decided to dry it first and then cut it...which I find odd and I think was just a timesaver..I have a lot of hair and I was in and out of the salon within 45 mins. When I read other reviews on how well Charlotte cut curly hair and how she cut each curl individually, I expected to get the same level of treatment. Instead she quickly dried it and barely straightened it (as soon as I had gotten home it was completely frizzy and waves were coming back already) and THEN cut it. I'm not sure how she could tell how the curls worked if she straightened it first? I've since washed it and there are so many curls that stick straight out....definitely not what I was expecting from a $90 haircut and someone who is supposed to be great at cutting curly hair. Unfortunately as much as I was looking forward to my haircut, I will not be going back here.
