Wax Trax is one of the greatest record stores in the country. While Rich, the owner, may initially come across as cantankerous, once you get to know him you realize that he genuinely loves talking about music and records and has an endless wealth of knowledge of both. While the prices can be high, you'll always find quality and incredibly hard-to-find records there and the condition will almost always be top notch. If you're willing to spend a few hours (or more) you'll almost always walk out of Wax Trax with something you absolutely love, but probably didn't know existed when you woke up that morning.
