The rink is pretty small but for my kids (5, 4, 2 year-old) it was the perfect lap. They have never done it before but they provided "skating aid and rides" for them. I can see people that actually ice skate not enjoying this place because of the size. Also, the ice was not in the best shape. I did not see a zamboni resurface the ice once in the 2 hours we were there. We went on a Saturday so it was relatively busy. We decided to check it out because our community had an outing there and they reserved the fire pit section for 3 hours. They had a table set up with hot cocoa, marshmallows, churros, water, fruit, graham crackers and Hershey's chocolate to make s'mores. I'm not sure if this was something set up specifically for our group or if they provide that for anyone that reserves that section. Overall, it was a good experience. The staff was nice, the vibe was good, it was affordable ($10), and my kids had fun. I would recommend it for a family with kids but not for people who actually skate and want to be Apolo Anton Ohno ...
