I have been a Harkins fan ever since I moved to the Valley 25 years ago. The original Camelview was my favorite theatre in town and I went at least once a week. I was sad to see it close but very excited about the hip, new Camelview at Fashion Square. I love the idea of reserved seats because now I don't have to get there 45 minutes early to get in line for a good seat. I also love the new concessions....the gelato was delicious and the other deserts look just as good! I like the smaller theaters, the cleanliness, the big screens and overall the whole experience. My one negative comment is on the PRICE! U used to be able to go to the old Camelview and pay $7.50 to get in....the new place is almost DOUBLE that at $14.50/ticket. I understand the need to raise prices to pay for the new theatre but it will certainly make a difference in me going there as often. I will look for movies at Christown or Shea 14 now instead and save Camelview for special occasions. I am still grateful to Dan Harkins for all he has done for valley theatre and applaud this new theatre and wish them great success! Happy viewing!
