This company may have been contracted by the Federal Government to handle Medicare Part D Prescriptions, but I can get lower prices on medication by going to Walmart, Rite-Aid, and independent pharmacies and price shopping, Walmart offers some generic medication for a 3 month prescription for $10. Buying that same medication through Silver Script is a $15 co pay. Silver Script started sending me bills for $32 a month starting in January 2014, even though I never signed up for their service and never bought medication through them. They wanted me to agree to have their monthly fee that I never agreed too taken out of my Social Security payment. I called their Customer Service and spoke to a Rep who apparently just got out of high school. No experience dealing with people. He told me "You HAVE to bill that bill". I told him I never used it and am not paying it. I sent a letter of complaint to their home office and they said they would "investigate" my complaint and make a decision. Right. Google Silver Script Complaints. This company has overcharged Medicare people and when they were called about being over charged, the CS rep told them that it would take 3 months to get money back from Social Security. There are so many complaints about this outfit that they have been suspended by Medicare. Clearly a 3rd rate insurance company. Medicare made a mistake contracting these people. I can buy my meds cheaper myself so Medicare people are paying for those rude CS reps they employ. Next stop is my Congressman's office.
