I don't know why I waited this long before I ate at the best tapas restaurant in all of Charlotte?
The wait is the reason why... Not only did I know this place was going to be a wait but just the simple fact of the sheer number of people who continually told me how good "Good Food" was as a restaurant .
The place is really cozy and really feels like one big dining room in a really expensive house with a bar. The reason I say that is because you feel right at home with the colors and decor that welcomes a sense of intimacy unmatched in most place in Charlotte.
Our services was very prompt and provided great knowledge of the foods while along with great recommendations!
We order the cauliflower soup, assorted cheeses, gnocchi, lettuce wraps, beef with fried pickles and cheese.
I like the texture of everything I tasted as it was fresh and appeasing to my palate. My favorite besides the cheese ,because I am addicted to cheese, was the gnocchi.
The gnocchi had duck inside of it as it was cooked perfectly to give it a balance of just the right taste without being too overwhelming. The sauce was amazing and tasted homemade instead of out of a can.
Honestly I don't have anything bad to say beside be ready to wait. It seems sometimes good things are worth the wait . In this case Good Food is definitely worth the wait! Happy eating!
