I needed to get a periodic inhaler that my Dr. prescribed. The prescription coverage on my insurance leaves much to be desired. The cash price for the medicine my Dr. prescribed was around $75.00 which, believe it or not, is less than my co-pay on brand names. The woman who helped me proactively offered to help me try to find an alternative. She spent over five minutes plugging away on her computer, applying coupons she could find etc. She eventually was able to find me a competing product which was 1/2 the cost, roughly $35.00. I said "sold!", wandered the store for ten minutes, and left with my prescription. It is rare these days to find people that will go the extra mile for you and that's exactly what they did. Walgreens just earned a customer for life!
