Our guide David picked up my girlfriend and I from the Tropicana to ride ATV`s on a tour through the desert. The minute we entered his van he started telling us a story about a Black couple that he did a tour with yesterday who didn't tip, and how Black people are bad tippers. Being Latino myself I'm wondering if he was trying to get his message across to me about his tipping expectations. The ride itself was fun, didn't let the awkwardness ruin my time, The comments that he made from the start of the trip to the end showed that he was making it no mystery that he was there for the money. The entire time he was complaining about how he was so tired from being overworked by his boss 60+ hours who was paying him under the table (IRS are you reading this?) Our guide also cut corners by ending our trip 25 minutes early. If I showed up to work with this type of demeanor I would be living in a cardboard box by now. Highly recommended if you are a redneck and agree with his views, or if you are one who enjoys being shaken down for tips instead of focusing on having fun.
