I came here for "breakfast", but really, dessert before my real breakfast because I wanted to beat the rush on Sunday morning. Upon walking in, I was greeted and served. My partner ordered the "8" ($3.05) while I got The Avery as well as the Mont Blanc (both $7.80 each) for us to share. I was super impressed with how The Avery was made. It wasn't until it was directly in front of me that I noticed a real rose petal was used to make the pastry! I didn't eat it, but it was definitely a nice touch. The cheesecake blended in well and the earl grey and strawberry flavour complemented each other well. It had more of a subtle strawberry flavour. There was also a pink chocolate shell that I was impressed with given the attention to detail to make this pastry. The Mont Blanc was as good as I remember it from 2 years ago, and the 8 was perfectly flakey. I'm definitely a fan of this place, and I'll definitely be back. Given the prices however, it would have to be for special occasions.
