Trendy spot, local ingredients & strong service Location: True Food is in a bit of an upscale outdoor mall area; there's a bunch of valet parking (with validation) but also free parking in the north section as well. You may like this but I wasn't crazy about it. Food: We came here for brunch and quickly exclaimed at all the interesting choices for vegetarians, vegans and people who are neither. The Sunrise Bowl was great: the egg was well cooked and the bowl had fresh ingredients in it. The portions weren't super large. The Garden Scramble was okay too, though the eggs a bit tasteless. The squash pie was a highlight of the meal: light and tasted a bit like pumpkin. The whipped cream was a good pair and not too heavy. Environment: The decor was open and modernly decorated. They also had some heat lamps in their more outdoor area, which felt nice. Service: Our server was attentive without being annoying. He seemed to appear at all the right times - pure efficiency.
