I was referred to ENT Specialists by an Audiologist to assess if I needed hearing aids. Dr Fateh and Dr Mendelsohn both examined me. A hearing test was administered. It was determined that I did need hearing aids. While I was NOT pressured, I did purchase them from ENT Specialists. After being fitted and wearing them for ONE weekend, I returned them. They kept falling out and I did not see any improvement in my hearing, when they were installed. As per the contract, I was refunded my payment, less $200. I was tested again, by another Audiologist and learned that the ENT test was not accurate. I purchased hearing aids from the third Audiologist, as their test and the first test were almost identical. The cost was substantially lower than the ENT set. Once again, I want to state that i was treated well and never pressured to buy from ENT. It was my decision. What disturbs me is that the test administered by ENT was not accurate. Hence, the hearing aids were not effective as well as expensive.
