We were supposed to go to another KTV place closer to out hotel but there was about a 2hr+ wait. So we decided to give this place a try.
Parking was plenty compared to the other KTV place in a super busy plaza so this was a plus. Walking in, we were greeted my a Joe who was super nice and gave us a quick intro/demo to using the remote for song searching etc. Very informative and nice. Thanks Joe.
We got a small room for the 3 of us but the room and fit comfortably for 5-6ppl. Anymore would be too crowded and stuffy in my opinion. Although it was nice they had a ceiling fan which helps!
We didn't get any appetizers/food as we came after a heavy dinner but definitely was ready for drinks! Got a pitcher of soda for ($5) and a liter of blended strawberry daiquiri soju ($18). The soju was quite sweet and tasted strong enough. We all thought it was weak as no one got much of a buzz with it, only to realize it kicks in much later. Then again, we had other drinks before walking in here, haha. So I'll let you be the judge of that. I prefer the traditional yogurt soju if you ask me though (which for the ones who don't know, they mix soju with those little yokult probiotic drinks). Sounds weird but their yummy! To me that is, which is the original way.
During happy hour ($10/hr small room) and regular hours ($15/hr) which was a descent price and at the end after drinks and 2.5hrs of KTV time it was still $60 which isn't too bad compared to LA/K-town prices. Regardless we had a blast and lost out voices singing out hearts out.
English song selections are relatively new but could be better. Did lack the current ones. Don't know about other languages but Chinese songs were quite old/limited which was unfortunate. Loved that they provide disposable mic covers to each room.
Would definite come back for a random KTV fix with descent prices and service but if you want updated music selections especially in other languages, you may want to try other places.
