My girlfriend and I have been to Persis 4-5 times. Based on my first few experiences, after it first opened, I would not have rated it this high. Although the food was great, the service was poor and our server had a very difficult time understanding our order. Also each dish took far to long to be served. Since then, they have certainly figured it out. Our service has been excellent the past couple times we've gone. Joseph is extremely friendly and more than happy to explain menu items and spice levels. The manager came around to ask us how we were doing and the food came out much quicker. So from a service standpoint, Persis is doing it right. As for the food, it has always been outstanding. Of the appetizers, I've tried the samosas, garlic chicken, fried jalapenos, and button mushrooms. For entree, there are to many to name, but my favorite is the Chana Masala. Also, they do not have Dal Makhani on the menu; however Joseph had it specially made for us. I would give this 4 1/2 stars if it were available. I highly recommend it and I promise you will not be disappointed.
