If you want to be in the heart of the Fremont experience (without spending an arm/leg) then this is the place to stay. The rooms really need an update. The beds need to be replaced - we had a really saggy mattress. It's a bad sign when you can visually notice the body dents upon entering the room. Perhaps we should have asked for another - but who's to say that any other room would be different? The bathrooms are super small but adequate. OMG the towels are so rough it's painful to dry off. The casino was never really super busy and the the majority of the crowd was older. The air conditioning was spotty and I was a little uncomfortable but we were here during record heat so maybe that had something to do with it? However I didn't run into this problem in any of the other casinos. I've stayed here a few times in the last 5yrs and back then I'd give it 4 stars. This was the first time that I thought this place needed a serious upgrade. I think it had a lot to do with the saggy bed. But I do like the location and it's affordable.
