This practice is the worst in every possible way. It took me over three months to get the eyeglasses I ordered (and they had been paid in full). Heard excuse after excuse and finally my glasses showed up. It took a complaint with the Attorney General's office for them to respond. That was the first bad situation. The next one occurred when I returned because I thought things would be different due to staffing changes. It was then that I realized that the problems were due to the inattention of Dr. Stern. I went in for treatment of an eye infection and his receptionist insisted I pay $396.00 up front even though I told her I had only a $20.00 co-pay. She said if I was due a refund I would get it immediately after insurance was processed. They never sent in the clain! I had two more office follow-ups and paid up front. They did submit those claims but did not reimburse me. It is three months later and still no reimbursement. Another claim filed with Attorney General and also the AZ Dept of Optometry. Something has to be done about their fraudulent practices and inattention.
