I used to go to another Aveda hair salon in NDG called Au Premier. I was very unhappy with their services... THIS Aveda salon, however, surpassed my expectations. I was beyond blown away. I was kindly greeted at the front desk and given a nice cup of tea. I was then showed me around the lovely premises and eventually led me to the colourist, who gave me a great, in-depth consultation. After 2 cappuccinos, a hand massage, a head massage, a free blow-dry and a first time customer's 25$ gift card, I was sold. These people really want to secure their customers' business. Onto the dye job: fantastic job done by Josee. I've coloured my hair probably over 30 times and she by far did the best job. Very very very meticulous. Blow dry was done by Melodie-- very sweet girl as well, did a great job. Try this place out! I'm a tough critic when it comes to hair and I was very happy. I was also glad that they didn't try to pressure me into buying Aveda products (which they often do at Au Premier). And PS their hair washing stations don't have those uncomfortable chairs... they have beds!
