Call me sourpuss, but First Friday has gone way downhill. I first checked it out about a year and a half ago, and it has significantly shrunk since, not only in size, but also in content. It went from having tons of vendors and artists to basically tons of food trucks, which to me isn't the point, this isn't a food fair.
If you absolutely have nothing else to do on a first Friday of the month- sure, come down, buy a beer and walk around a bit, but don't expect to see more than 5-6 booths of art and lots and lots of food. If you can find a clean-ish table to perch your food on, you are a better scout than me.
Sad to see an awesome concept dwindle down.
