I hate to leave bad reviews and i have a love hate relationship with Sport Clips. Its really luck of the draw. As much as you find somebody who really does an outstanding job and they actually hand your their card to book for next time, there is no next time because they dont work there anymore and their card is taking up useful space in my wallet for nothing. The 1st thing they do is take the assumptive close with up selling me the MVP. Total waste of $$. I mean its a haircut, not a day at the spa. Dont get the 2 confused. Basically a shampoo & rinse, hot towel, vibrating chair and 10 seconds of a vibrating wand on your shoulders. I walk in, nobody is there and i still have to peck away at a keyboard that wants my phone # & email address. I dont want your junk mail Sport Clips, just a haircut, nothing more, nothing less. The prices keep going up. I have no problem paying extra for a stylist i know and trust but thats never the experience here for me. High turnover of employees. The stylist are personable however she mentioned something to me about having to charge me for 2 haircuts! As if !!! The only consistent here are the stylists acting out well rehearsed upselling routines with zero enthusiasm. Its become tiresome. My hair style is basic, quick & low maintenance and i really am a low maintenance kind of guy so for them to even mention anything remotely close to charging me twice is not appropriate or appreciated because you have to do your job and take a little extra off top and make it look proportional. cmon! While your charging me, dont forget to shove product on me. Its all about achieving the maximum transaction amount here. My issue is not with the employees as they are just doing thier job, my problem is the corporation and thier money driven culture.
