I am giving one star because my husband and I love each other and are simply happy to finally be married and that's the only reason I am giving one star. Everything else about getting married at the Tropicana was awful. First of all the prices kept changing they wanted more and more money from us. A week before my wedding they call and tell me I need to basically pay $350 for more chairs, chairs I was never told weren't included and instead of understanding that I don't have that a WEEK before my wedding they basically force me into a different venue that I did not want. 10 months ago when I started looking at the Tropicana there was no sky beach club it was a very quiet, beautiful venue, about 5 months ago when I finally started to book and pay for that said venue there still was no sky beach club. However the day of my wedding there is this sky beach club that is playing music so loud the building is shaking. Needless to say I walked down the aisle to pony by genuine which is not something any couple wants on there wedding day that was suppose to be traditional. My maid of honor bought me a hotel room the day before my wedding when purchasing the hotel room and telling the Tropicana I was getting married there and my wedding started at 4 no one thought to mention that check out was 12 and we would have to pay for HALF of the next day if we wanted to be in the room any time after the 12pm check out. Again this is just negligence that every one working at the Tropicana can not seem to communicate with customers on prices correctly. I never once felt I was taken seriously instead I was treated as a dollar not a person. I bought a package that included flowers,limo,18 ceremony pictures, wedding video, and that's about it. I didn't use their flowers nor their limo but yet when it came down to me needing help with things like the chairs or wanting flower pedals down the isle "no we can't substitute anything, you forfeited the flowers and limo" but yet I still had to pay for them. I would not recommend getting married here at all. Each problem that came up I asked to speak to a manager and each time the manager was unavailable. I paid $1300 was a wedding I could of paid $100 for if I had let Elvis marry us. I was never explained pricing nor packages until a week before my wedding day. I was not given the wedding I was told the day I booked the wedding I was getting. At the end of the ceremony the photographer said I'll take you guys out side and take pictures I said to her I don't think that's in my package I don't want to pay more she then told me and my husband it was not an extra cost, when going and picking up my pictures it's now $700 for me to receive these photos. Just another example of poor communication.
