I'm trying hard to think when I've had a worse meal and I'm just not coming up with anything. Went there Friday night as we go once or twice a summer and enjoy dining on their terrasse. I was in the mood for steak frites however they only offer that on their lunch menu. I asked the waiter if they would substitute the mashed potatos and veggies for french fries on my $38.00? He immediately said no! Odd so I order a $19.00 VP Hamburger which came with french fries. So obviously they were still making fries for their dinner menu. NOW why in the world would you not take an order for a $38 steak and instead turn it into an order for a $19 hamburger.??? Doesn't make sense, am I right.....LOL ! Their loss I thought. My partner ordered the steak. We waited some time for our appetizer which never came. We flagged down our waiter who said he didn't hear us order the calamari. Said he would bring it with our meal if that was o.k. Well skip the calamari as it's huge thick chewy rubber bands cooked in batter. Hardly digestible. The meat in our dinner was the same. My partners steak was over cooked, not reasonable for a diner let along some place that touts themselves as a "steakhouse". The hamburger was worse, overcooked and dry as a bone. Could have gone to 5 Guys and had a juicy hamburger for $5.00. The bun the hamburger was on was old and dried up the top of the bun was falling apart it was so dry.We won't be going back!
