On December 14, 2017 I went to this shop to get information about possibly putting my full length black fur coat with fox trim on consignment. I have read all of the reviews since my visit and I have to concur with the very lengthy negative reviews that have been posted as far back as 03/2014 to date. I observed the shop as being dark and dreary clothes and coats not on hangers but just spewed everywhere, shoes on the floor that I tripped over and had to kick out of the way, and a very un-informed, discombobulated staff that could not give me a straight or believable answer about the value of my fur. One of the male staff hung my coat up so he could view it full length looked at my coat and asked me what type of fur it was, and I told him. A customer in the store was browsing through the mess but noticed my fur hanging up and asked how much it was. The male staff said that it would be $2500.00. Funny because I told him $2700.00. He did not know what to do after that except to tell me they had a similar fur in the back that he had to dig for to find. Finally he turns my matter over to this Lisa person who some of the negative reviews has identified as the "new owner" what a pity. I guess she was the one who was suppose to be able to assess the value of my coat. Not. She looked at the label inside the coat and supposedly researched what she said was a similar coat from the same store I purchased it and then told me it would be $595.00. When I approached the counter where she was doing the "research" for her to show me what she had found to support her price of $595.00. She became just what the negative reviews said about her "RUDE". I said to her I could not believe she was treating a potential customer with such an attitude in the manner she was. She then said she did not like my attitude and that I could leave her store which I gladly did and will never return nor refer anyone to the place. I referred to myself as a "potential customer" but honestly I would not entrust not even a hairpin to this place. As consumers we rely on the reviews of others that outline a customer's experience with a business. I did not read the reviews before I went there. But I'll tell you people did not lie. The biggest truth is that the "new owner" is RUDE, unprofessional, the place is disorganized, clothes and shoes are laying around, their items are over priced ...these are things I observed myself. Others have accused them of having lost their items, failure to pay for the items left for them to sell, that they sell items and don't let you know, and that they are downright thieves. Hey Ms. "new owner" the light is shining on your business and not in a positive way. Consumers pay attention to reviews.
