Stayed here on New Year's Eve after booking a much more reasonable price through Priceline. I definitely don't think the hotel rooms are worth the full price. When we arrived at the hotel at about 4:00pm (check-in begins at 3), there was a HUGE line of people waiting to check in. We're talking a line at least 20-people deep. I was immediately frustrated- how could you not plan for a ton of people to be checking in on NYE? However, the staff were very efficient and the line moved quicker than anticipated. Despite the number of irritated guests, all of the staff members remained friendly and helpful. They also had water and popcorn on hand to keep us appeased. Our room was on the top floor overlooking Superior Ave. Not much of a view, but you don't usually get a choice there. Accommodations were comfortable, but not worth the steep price tag. For the nightly rate, I expected a more grandiose room. While everything was perfectly clean and tidy, I wasn't wowed. All in all, probably wouldn't stay here again for the price they charge.
