I contacted Nevada Tree Service thru Yelp.The owner "Frank" immediately provided a reasonable ballpark estimate. I then spoke with "Ashley" (who was very friendly) and she dispatched an estimator "Brian" to provide an exact quote. Brian was knowledgeable and courteous and explained in exact detail what the job entailed and what the exact price would be. All together, I received bids from 4 different companies. Nevada Tree Service's bid fell right in the middle. I went with them because they were by far the most professional. When their crew arrived to perform the work they brought an impressive array of specialized equipment and the foreman "Antonio" was very courteous and professional. The palm tree that required removal and stump grinding was in a very difficult location behind the pool. The workmen laid tarps over the patio and pool to minimize tire tracks and debris. They were finished in under 2 hours. I intend to have these guys trim my two giant Mesquite trees in Oct. In my experience, it's better to go with the pro's rather than deal with a bunch of unnecessary issues.
