We live 3 minutes from this place and have been meaning to try it. We shouldn't have waited so long! We will be back. There were 4 of us and we started with salads and potato pancakes (served with sour cream). Very good. Two of us had Karpackie brand beer. Authentic, light, Polish beer. The bottles are large. Yum. My bro-in-law had fried sausage with mashed potatoes -- he said it was delicious. My sister had pierogi sampler with meat, potato cheese and Russian. She said the dough was just thin enough to be nice and crispy when fried and well filled! A plate of nine pierogis was plenty--a full dinner, she said. She was in pierogi heaven. My husband got the sampler platter with kielbasa, stuffed cabbage and pierogi. The sauce on the stuffed cabbage was different that he was used to--lighter in color and with dill, but he thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a plate of spinach pierogis that were fried--very tasty. We finished with blueberry and strawberry crepes. Very nice! The restaurant was clean inside, service was prompt and friendly. Decor is modern and sparse, but we enjoyed the maps of Europe on the wall, helpful as my bro-in-law was explaining to us where his family was from. The restaurant takes credit cards, but not AMEX.
