Truly awful terrifying place to stay. I didn't get a bit of sleep because I was TERRIFIED the entire night.
Despite having rooms facing the parking lot, they put me in a corner room directly on the street. I was a lone female, and it did not feel safe at all. The noise of traffic did not stop all night long.
The bedspread was awful. Someone either was born or died on that bedspread.
I pulled the blankets off and slept with my own that I had in the car.
I always pull bedspreads off anyway, but this one was awful. That was too big of a stain to just be sex stuff.
The door lock was not actually attached in a way that provides any security at all. I did my best to booby trap the door with the chair and all my luggage. Very extremely unnerving to be on a ground-floor, corner room right on a busy street with no quality lock on the door.
Hypodermic needles in the parking lot.
.
I'm not opposed to Motel 6s (there are some lovely ones on the 40) but this was a truly terrifying place to stay and I think Motel 6 should either drop it from their chain or else get in there and clean it up. Places like this bring their entire operation down. Do people get murdered at this hotel??? I will be shocked if the answer is no.
