My husband was kept against his will and moved to the 4th floor geriatric psych ward after making a joke about a doctor. The 4th floor nurses told me he had voluntarily committed himself and showed me his signature---- curlicue script...not his writing. Then they told me he asked to have them sign for him. I grabbed him and walked right out through the seldom used visitor doors leaving behind a group of sad shufflefooting confused old people who may very well be on missing persons lists.
