Went there to get an oil change on a Chevy Sonic, explained to us how Other places would use recycled oil, but they are the exception, so it already started odd... Anyway, we ignore the comment and the person attending to our car shows us the air filter and tries to upsell us-which we decline to do. After service, we notice that the Engine light was on-it wasn't before. We drive back (mind you, it has already been a long day) and the attendee denies it could have been anything they have done, we have to essentially force them to look at the car to see what might have happened. Turns out, the guy forgot to put back the air filter, oh geez... Even after they put back the air filter the Engine light remains On. The serviceman recommends going to a place where we can get a reading. Which we end up doing... The engine light on was on for a couple of months, we had no time to try and further investigate their mistake. According to the engine error code, the error had to deal with the Mass Airflow Sensor (error P0171), so we had a look at the area to see if it was a sensor or a part-basically a $100+ fix, which we didn't need considering the Holidays and the fact that the cars renewal and registration fees were coming up. Fortunately, after thorough investigation we figured out the issue: there was a tear on the tube that connected to the MAF. Which means that they damaged it during the oil change while trying to upsell us on other stuff. Never returning here again.
