I did not have a good experience here, I was already stressful receiving my very first ticket ever since I started driving back in 2005, I wrote him message and gave him a call to get a quote, at the end of 5 min. phone conversation he said it would be better for me to come to the office to further explain my fees. So I went to his office like he suggested, I kindly asked if I can drop in, he said it's usually by appointment only.......(if he had told me I need to set an appointment when we were on the phone the other day, I'd be happy to do it, but he didn't mention I need to set an appointment), but no one was in the office at that time anyway, so he took me in. I sat down, he explained to me how he charged the fee and everything, since it was a lot to take in, and I want to make sure I'm getting the best quote as I'm still waiting to hear back from other law firm, I told him to give me couple days to think about it, and he said I've contacted him several times already(?) and I'm wasting his time, and it's time for me to make decision (???????), I was so dumbfounded and I did not appreciate this at all. Yes, he may have a better rate, but in the end, I choose to go with others simply because I was treated with respect and patience, no one else except him said I was wasting their time. I don't deserve to be treated like this, no one should. Thank you for your time, sorry to waste 1 minutes of your time by replying to my message, 5 minutes of your time on the phone, and 12 minutes of your time in your office. =============================================== Here's my respond to his comments to my review on 6/27, like he mentioned there's always two side of stories, all I know is my side of story is what exactly happened to me and what I experienced, and I don't need to explain myself further after this reply. When I first messaged him, all the response I received were "price estimate: $20, our fees start at $20 maximum $50 (if we go to trial to contest your ticket to reduce your fees, and no school and other points, thanks for stop by and let them know if I'd like a free consult" (no where in message mentioned I need to make an appointment) Even though this is my first ticket, I know this is just an estimate. I called him to ask him about his reply to me the other day to my yelp message about estimate of $20~$50 and see if there are any other fees I should be aware of, during the phone conversation he reassured those statement and I also mentioned to him that I did have a at fault rear end ticket, so he gave me another quote of $200+, I was a bit confused about how all the fee worked together so he told me it's the best I could go to the office so he can explain further (still no mentioning about I need to make an appointment), so I kindly thank him for his time and I did visit him following day. I reached the office and saw him looking at his phone on his desk, and there's no other paperwork in front of him that he's looking at nor is anyone in the office at the time, I even kindly asked him if this is drop in only or I need to set up appointment first before I even go in and sat down, that's when he mentioned he needed an appointment usually but asked me what's going on anyway. At the meeting he's able to put in my ticket and told me fees would normally be $50 but will give me discount so reduced down to $40, and can reduce to lower than $200 for other court related fee, so from messaging to phone call and finally to the office, I received 3 different responses, do I not have the right to have time to absorb all these information? and I simply did not appreciated I was being told that I'm wasting his time that it's time for me to make a decision", word for word, (and according to his comment, he stated I was frowning)....ok fine, if that's what he perceived what I was doing at the time, but wouldn't anyone be frowning at that type of response? if only his respond were nice and professional like in his comment to my feedback, there's no doubt I'll be more than happy to be his customer, thank you.
