So, as a relative newcomer to Phoenix, I'm always on the hunt for the gems the locals rave about. Apparently, this is one of those gems. I ordered the @3 way burro - green chile, red chile and beans wrapped in a tortilla made here. The heat level was just right for me and I thought the green chile was excellent. The red was good but just average. I also ordered a hard shell beef taco which was on par with homemade.
The location is not in one of Phoenix's best neighborhoods but it feels safe here nonetheless. The staff was friendly, the prices are cheap. The dining room is worn down from their legions of fans and definitely needed some attention after a long day of diners. Overall, good authentic Mexican food at a price that's more than fair.
