The name of this restaurant is too big for its britches. I had pretty good expectations for this place since many of my coworkers highly recommended it. I went during my lunch, there wasn't much of a wait as it appears most patrons opt to dine in. Customers have the ability to call in or take out, which I did. It was nice to see that they had great pescetarian and vegan options which gave me a multitude of options. I decided on the lunch special of honey walnut shrimp and fried rice. It comes with your choice of egg roll, soup or salad for a little under $10. I waited for about 10 mins for my order and headed back to work. Presentation: I wasn't impressed. There was literally two scoops of rice (as if they'd used an ice cream scooper) that had no veggies whatsoever. My honey walnut shrimp(5 medium sized pieces) lay atop a small bed if coleslaw???strange (of all the foods you can lay shrimp on) there was also about 6 walnuts as well. Taste: The dish not only lacked color and presentation but flavor sadly. The worst part of all is I actually caught myself saying in my mind (of course) that even Panda Express tasted better! I don't know, maybe it was my order or maybe this "palace" serves pauper plates served up by employees just as so-so as the food. In conclusion the employee I came in contact with neither the food was downright horrible. The prices on the menu don't match the quality of food and that is the sole reason I won't make another visit here. Who knows, maybe in the future they'll make their way to the Ranch Market and pick up a few spices.
