Was sold a foam roof over my back patio several years ago and really have not any issues.
Until recently, I have a piece of fascia board that needs to be replaced, roughly 12' of 2X8 and 1X4. I can do the fascia board myself, the real issue is in order to get the foam patched there is a $650 minimum charge.
When considering a foam roof, keep this cost in mind and the cost of recording it every 5 years.
Needless to say, I will be removing the foam roof entirely and going back to rolled roofing that comes with a 10 year warranty with no added maintenance costs of recoating.
