Good bubble tea while I'm on vacation? Yay! Inspired by a ROTD for a bubble tea place in the area, my craving for one kicked in and I searched for one nearby. QQ Boba came up, and it was a great choice. The shop has quite the open layout and really clean interior. Two people were working at the time and kept it tidy behind the bar area, too. The menu is standard, and as long as they carry taro, I'm happy. I ordered a large taro milk tea with bubbles. The tapioca (bubbles) are cooked in honey, which I appreciate. The sweetness comes through when you chew on them - way better than places that decide not to boil the tapioca in any sweetener whatsoever. Surprisingly, the taro had a ton of natural flavor coming through. It didn't taste like the standard, cheap sugar powder I expect to be shaken in with the lactaid, it really tasted like taro root. Cool. To be noted, the staff was very friendly, but I'm noticing that everyone here is. Of course, customizable ice and sugar levels are always a plus. Don't forget to get your stamp card.
