Charming local pub-restaurant...dark woods, yellow-toned period lighting...friendly, prompt service...great on-tap selection. Everything we've ever tried (myriad daily specials, veggie berger, chilli, ploughman's lunch, chicken tikka masala, beef vindaloo, etc) have been terrific (one exception....the catfish...Oh my God, please don't ask)
In a block where other restaurants sit eerily empty night after night (Monkey Bar, Coppi, etc) The Abbot is always full! Super reasonable prices also! Our fav local pub-restaurant used to be The Miller...but it's been replaced by by The Abbot...our new fav!
