Very cute espresso bar; it reminded me of the kind of place you find all over Italy. Inside it's really beautiful - lots of dark wood but with plenty of natural light, a great view into the tiny kitchen, and a friendly staff. The space is tiny, definitely a step past "intimate" into "cramped" territory. They have a limited menu of food items - a salad, a sandwich, and another item or two were scrawled on a chalk board. I was just in for a snack, so I passed on the meal items but the items people around me ordered looked yummy and I couldn't help but hear positive reviews. The tables are about 6 inches apart and there aren't that many of them (someone actually asked to join me at my small table, I was happy to oblige). Parched from my walk and the hot weather, I led off with a fresh cucumber soda (I watched them grind the cucumbers!). It was incredibly refreshing and not too sweet. As a doughnut fiend indulged in a currant doughnut to accompany my latte. The doughnut was good - think a raspberry frosted tim hortons/dunkin donuts but better quality all around and less cloying. The latte was very good as well. Great place to stop by on a sleepy afternoon and relax for a bit.
