There was definitely good and bad about Square Cafe.
First, the good:
I had a fantastic brunch meal. I had the Brussels sprout hash (caution: not vegetarian) and a single order of the pumpkin walnut pancake. My hash was served over cheesy grits and had an over easy egg on top. It was delicious. The pancake was sweet but not too sweet.
But there was bad:
We were forgotten about. Which is fine, and understandable on a very busy Saturday morning. But we were made to feel bad about being there, about being forgotten, about wanting more than one cup of $3.00 bottomless coffee, about one member of our party's food being left unmade, about not leaving. It was such a disappointing experience.
