I've walked by many times en route to Toronto Western hospital for training, but never stopped in until today since it seems to be drowned out by all the other more exciting food stalls in Kensington Market. I couldn't resist trying their gelato today. They have a big selection with many sorbet options (mostly fruity). A huge pro is that their smallest cup size ($5 rounded) allows for 2 flavors! I ordered the low calorie chocolate (skim milk chocolate with Splenda and real chocolate flakes) and blueberry yogurt flavors. The chocolate one was predominantly bitter and not very sweet, but I enjoyed it, in part because the surprise chocolate flakes were a nice touch. Cons- really small. You know when gelato sometimes hang over the sides of the cup? Yeah, you don't get that here. Kind of cold inside since they keep their door and windows open. Overall, a decent gelato option if you're in the area, but I wouldn't come again since not memorable or cheap.
