Downtown Summerlin became my new go-to mall! It's conveniently located on the west side of town where I live. It's right along the 215, with easy access to the freeway, and is across the street from Red Rock Hotel & Casino.
This mall has a lot of the popular retail stores such as H&M, Forever 21, Foot Locker, Apple, and Sephora. And for those that live in the area, we no longer have to travel towards the city for department stores like Macy's or Dillard's. :]
There are also plenty of eateries and restaurants all around the vicinity. Shake Shack, Sushi Loca, and Pieology are just a few to name. They even opened up a Dave & Buster's in Downtown Summerlin! The first one in Vegas!
DS is a lot like Town Square (Las Vegas) when it comes to the concept and layout. They are both outdoor shopping malls with a movie theater. However, the theater in DS is a lot smaller.
All in all, it's a nice place to walk around or window shop. Many people still stay/walk around after closing hours to just take in the sights. It's also a dog-friendly mall, so bring the furry friend along. :]
Pro-Tips:
-Parallel parking is free throughout
-Farmers Market every Saturday from 9 AM-2 PM
-The restrooms all around the mall are for single use. When it gets busy, you might be waiting in line.
