Patrons beware! If you think you are saving time & headaches waiting in line by ordering from Chipotle online to pick up in store, you won't. I have 3 small kids who, like any other kid, don't really appreciate being stuck in the slow Chipotle line waiting for food so we ordered online to pick up & bring home. We were not greeted with our food & a smile when we got to the counter to pick up our food. The email order confirmation said that our order would be ready for pick up at 12:45pm. I did not arrive at the store until 1:15pm. I prepared myself for picking up cold food due to my delayed arrival. Instead, I was told that their line has been out the door for hours & I would have to wait in it for my order. I waited an additional 30 minutes in store while my order was being made & their line stretched to the entrance. When I got home, the order was missing toppings & queso that we had paid extra for. I checked our order in the store but could not have found the issue because it was sealed inside a container. This store only had 4 staff working on Sunday at lunchtime. The line stretched to the door. For the volume of food this place puts out, they are not well staffed. The lack of staff is what makes everyone wait very long in line f & wait an extra hour for an online order.
