I needed to find a new dentist closer to my home. I made an appointment a week ago, and asked specifically if they took my insurance. The guy on the phone, said it would not be a problem and I booked an appointment. I get a voicemail the day of and it says that I'm out of network, but they could still do the X-rays and cleaning. Because of the reviews I decided that i would try them out. I had the X-rays completed and the dentist comes in and says my teeth look fine and starts upselling veneers right away. Then the hygienist comes in and starts telling me about bone loss and bacteria and she recommends deep cleaning, and quarterly visits (as stated by another poster.) I told her that I am out of network, she said that the girl up front would speak with me about that. I waited another 15 minutes before she came in and informed me that the cleaning would ONLY be $ 600 out of pocket! I took my bib off and left. They wasted an hour and a half of my day off with this run around, I do not think they care about our teeth in the least, just trying to make as much money as possible. If the dentist office reads this feel free, to call me and dispute anything I have written. P.S. I visit a dentist regularly, floss and brush multiple times a day and have teeth in above average condition. Im only writing this addendum to let you know that the deep cleaning has never been recommended before and am quite sure that it was not needed this time as well.
