I was ravenous, needed pancakes and we were kind of in the middle of nowhere (don't hate, I grew up near here, I know what I'm talking about). Looked up Golden Griddle. Sadly the one we were looking for was no longer there. Back up plan? Wimpy's. I'd only ever been to one years ago and it hadn't made a stand out impression on me, but I was starving, so we went. The staff are friendly, I love the amount of variety on the menu! I had the breakfast with 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, bacon and toast. They have a good system and lots of hearty foods (with some lighter selections), tons of options and the prices were okay, as well. I'd go back (especially because I despise paying $10 downtown for 3 pancakes)!
