My daughter and I stopped in here after seeing a movie a few weeks ago. The shop was adorable and the woman working was very nice. Pretty straightforward, all they had were cupcakes and a few drinks. I think they may design cakes too but not sure.
I like to try out little local bakeries like this but for the most part the cupcakeries in Phoenix are nothing special... Except for this one. I cannot figure out what the frosting is made from but holy crapola it was amazing! Cupcake is a good light fluffy texture that has good flavor. Frosting is not your average buttercream. It's light and rich, not sure how that's possible. The flavor combinations are good and not trying too hard. My daughter loves their cookie monster one and I love the red velvet or the pink champagne one.
We came back last weekend and got the special that is $4 for a cupcake and hot chocolate/coffee and I have to admit the hot chocolate was terrible. It was chocolate flavored water. Didn't ruin my opinion of the cupcakes though. They have real "Mexican" coke which is so yummy so I'll stick to that from now on.
It's pricey but totally worth it. It's a perfect treat! I got 6 cupcakes for $14 but I think it was worth it. I really hope they stay in business.
