This restaurant has the most spectacular view but that is where spectacular stops. We live in town and had family visiting from Canada last weekend and we went there for what we hoped would be a great dining experience. The "arrival" experience was very strange - after checking in with a very unfriendly lady at a podium in the main casino, we went thru a metal detector and then squashed in an elevator with a ton of other people. We then had to check in again and were told to wait as we were early - no offer of "would you like to go to our lounge" or anything. The people were completely indifferent and at this stage had we not had guests I would have already left. When we asked we were told yes we have a lounge it's upstairs and was given a pager to carry that would alert us when we had to return in a 4/5 star restaurant??? We walked upstairs and had to find a table - no one to greet you - the table was filthy and had a ton of trash underneath. Two waitresses showed up and wiped the table with a very wet rag and left it wet!!! We ordered drinks after which we were told it was happy hour but not for beer or wine - what??? Of course the pager went off before we got our drinks and had to settle the check there before we could go downstairs - why couldn't it be transferred??? We also had to carry our drinks downstairs ourselves - not very impressive. We sat down and yes the view s superb BUT waiter was barely even interested that we sat down - menu was OK but extremely over priced for what we got. I wanted the lamb but wanted it plain and not with the Moroccan spices and was told NO we can't do that - WHAT??? I am just not getting the NO can do attitude here. All of our entrees came with NO vegetables at all, the lamb had a spoonful of rice and the salmon and spoonful of salad. For a $300 check with no appetizers or dessert, two glasses of wine and a beer they will not get this local resident back. Very disappointing and why as a local we just don't bother with these type of restaurants, they just assume you are a tourist, won't be back and treat you accordingly. Very sad.
