Odd that they call themselves SCOTTSDALE Travertine Polish, when it's clear that they are not at all happy about coming "all the way up to" Scottsdale. (This company is in Gilbert). Made an appointment (and it had to be a couple weeks in advance to suit them) for an estimate and was told I would be charged $40 to come to my Scottsdale home. When I called 3 days in advance of the appointment, to ask a question, I was told, "sorry, I forgot all about coming up there and made plans for (that day)" !! (Yeah....so did I...and it was to see YOU). Followed by, "you are a 2 hour round trip from us" (so...? ), and, "I really don't work weekends". Uh huh...which is why you were CHARGING me to come out on a Saturday and why I had to wait 2 weeks for that appointment (that never happened). Too bad, because the owner (Shannon) sounded like she knew her stuff and I was anticipating hiring her company for a good size job. But she was indifferent in her attitude and responses to me...after SHE screwed up. Makes me wonder what kind of job STP would have done? Oh well, called another company who came at 7 am on a Saturday (!) and gave me a very professional estimate. I'll be hiring them.
