I live right down the street from Little Chicago and have frequented their shop with my girlfriend for over a year. Tonight, I called at 7pm to order a 12 inch (medium) thin crust pizza. I was told on the phone that it would be ready in 40-45 minutes. I arrived at the shop at 7:45 and was told that the pizza was not ready, still needing a few more minutes. "No problem!" I told the hostess. I ended waiting quite a while - until 8:15, to be exact - before the pizza was ready. While I waited, barely a word was said to me by the hostess or person communicating with the cooks through the window. Not sure what you would call his position. No water was offered to me while I waited, no apologies, sympathies or explanations. I walked out with my pizza finally, glad that I did not tip. When I got home, I opened the box to find very few jalapeƱos. The pizza was tasty, but still, why did it take an hour and 15 mins to make a medium thin crust pizza?? Normally a big fan of Little Chicago, but the service was definitely lacking and disappointing this evening. Will look for other options next time I'm craving pizza.
