Nv energy's Cool Share program is a joke.
I put up with coming home to a warm house all summer because they choose to shut off your a/C at 4:00 in the afternoon, but what tore it for me is when their thermostat, that they installed, broke on Friday evening, and I called for service. Cool Share offers no after hours or weekend service. The customer service people gave me an emergency number, answered by a woman who told me they have not been affiliated with Cool Share for 3 years, and can't get NV Energy to stop giving out their number.
I was done. Went to Lowe's, bought a thermostat, threw the Cool Share junk in the trash,, and my house is cool again.
