I was in the market for a new 2018 Toyota Avalon and decided to try a local dealer and Sam's Club auto buying (also looked into Costco's too and discovered they both contract with True Car for their programs)...then saw an email from AAA Arizona about their car buying program so thought I would give them a try too. I am so glad I did...best car buying experience ever!!! I worked with Bill Halvorsen and he was amazing...his knowledge and experience in the car buying business is fantastic, he knows everyone and has contacts for everything. Our new car had to be transported over a hundred miles so he took care of that for us (no extra charge) along with bringing the new car to our house and driving off in our trade-in car. Bill negotiated with the dealer, came in $1,000 under my researched invoice price, valued my trade-in over $1,000 above the dealer's offer, and made the paper/document process very efficient. I really appreciated all he did because it was so much easier than my other experiences at car dealers where my time was wasted (hours) and upselling is a common occurrence. I highly recommend Bill Halvorsen and the AAA Car Buying Program.
