If I could give negative stars to a company I would! I work for ASU and booked Aramark catering for an event we were having. I asked Aramark for equipment rental ( Tables and linens) and they said they would use classic party rental. I had never used them but allowed Aramark to book them as it would relieve that task from me. I was told that the classic would be at the event location just after 6:30 pm to deliver the rental equipment. After waiting for two hours they finally showed up claiming that they never said just after 6:30 but that they gave a range of 6:30 pm 10:30 pm delivery time and that I needed to be there. I'm not sure why they would think that anyone would agree to this time range after work hours but that was just the start of an awful experience. I called their after hours line and spoke with Jeff Beyo. He was the worst person I could have spoken to at this point. Rather than apologizing for the miscommunication (between classic and Aramark) he continued to try and over speak me and tell me I was wrong. Jeff, I did not contract you and if Aramark uses your company consistently for ASU I will never use them again just because I will never give money to classic party rentals again. Jeff didn't understand that speaking to me so rudely and saying I was wrong puts Classic PR in a bad position in being contracted again with Aramark. After I called back a second time to get Jeff's last name and supervisors name he refused to give it to me and kept antagonizing me by saying 'what can I help you with' repeatedly. He even pretended to hang up at one point by going silent for 20 seconds or so. I really hope that Aramark stops using classic party rental immediately and that classic party rental teaches their employees how to speak to customers who are not at fault at all in this situation. I will be following up with the corporate office. Do not use classic party rentals- use the PARTY PEOPLE RENTAL COMPANY, very professional and always on time!
