I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the donuts after reading the other glowing Yelp reviews. I really don't know how so many people thought these donuts were amazing. I don't think I have unusually high standards. Maybe I came on a bad day (Saturday morning), but I tried three different donuts and all were dried out and tasted like they were several days old. However, I also ordered a kolache made with ham, cheese, hot dog, and jalapeños and parts of it were pretty good. The bread it was made of was not a croissant, which was disappointing. It was, like the donuts, dried out. The only thing that saved it was that I requested to have it heated up, which helped the cheese melt to disguise the dried out bread. The cheesy parts were good, but I didn't eat the dried out ends of the bread.
