I can only rate the food workers side, since I've never been in the clinic. If you need to pick up your food handler's card, go in the doors that are closest to the west side of the building. Both times I've had to come in here I took the test online. It's $8 and takes and hour and a half. You can do it in the office instead, but who wants to sit in the office at the Department of Health taking an online exam? Stay home in your jammies instead. You will have to pay $5 to get your food handler's card. Expect to have exact change. If you take the test online, just print out your certificate and bring it in along with your driver's license. They'll snap a quick pic and you'll be in and out of there in less than 15 minutes -- if there's a line. I was out in 5 today with no line. They do make the process relatively simple. Just know what to expect before you go down to make your visit as pleasant and fast as possible.
